Amorphis is a heavy metal band formed in Finland in 1990. The band initially started out in death metal and doom metal, but over time they incorporated folk, progressive rock and melodic metal into their music. The band draws inspiration from Finnish mythology and the epic “Kalevala” stories in particular, which has helped them develop a unique style.<\/p>\n
