Necrophobic

The lineup of Necrophobic has changed over the years, but the key members and their roles are as follows:

Anders Strokirk – Vocals: As Necrophobic’s vocalist, he contributes significantly to the band’s sound with his dark, harsh and angry vocal style. Strokirk, who briefly joined the band in the 1990s, returned permanently in 2014.

Sebastian Ramstedt – Guitar: Ramstedt is Necrophobic’s guitarist, writing melodic, fast and technical riffs that strengthen the band’s style. He has left and returned to the band several times and has made significant contributions to the sound.

Johan Bergebäck – Guitar: Bergebäck is Necrophobic’s other guitarist. Like Ramstedt, he contributes to Necrophobic’s melodic and harsh structure.

Allan Lundholm – Bass Guitar: Lundholm provides depth as the band’s bassist, and also writes solid rhythms and grounding bass parts for the band.
Joakim Sterner – Drums: Known as the band’s founding member and drummer. He is the only permanent member of the band and brings an intense energy to the music with his aggressive, fast drumming style.

Albums and Musical Style

Necrophobic attracted attention with their debut album The Nocturnal Silence, released in 1993. This album stands out for its blending of Swedish melodic death metal with a dark black metal aesthetic. Other notable albums by the band include Darkside (1997), Hrimthursum (2006), Death to All (2009), and Dawn of the Damned (2020). Necrophobic’s style is enriched with deep guitar melodies, atmospheric structures, fast and intense rhythms.
